Elegantly scattered more or less everywhere throughout the hotel, paintings by Tylek & Tylecek add tenderness and inspiration to Guarda Golf Hotel & Residences. Discovered by the Mistress of the House, even before work on the hotel began, it was evident to Madame Felli that art pieces of this couple with a passion for painting would shape a part of the visual identity of the etablishment.

Two amazing painters  

A wonderful tale hides behind the names Tylek & Tylecek. That of two artists living for painting with a desire to capture emotion and beauty. Born in Czechoslovakia, they fled their homeland in the 1980s to be able to pursue their art with all freedom. Once in France, they settled in Paris and started from scratch. Their works soon drew attention. It should be said that in each painting, a sense of wonder and the very essence of beauty await the spectator. Monsieur Tylek likes to paint the faces and harmonious curves of women with refined features, while Madame Tylecek prefers landscapes, the world of flowers, secret gardens and chromatic dreams. They thus unveil complementary universes, always exceptionally colourful, with grace and luminosity as their common thread.

Annual exhibition  

Once a year, Guarda Golf Hotel & Residences gives a place of honour to artworks signed by Tylek & Tylecek. The chance to discover the story told by each canvas. Though Monsieur is no longer with us to tell their story, Madame Tylecek is still more than delighted to present their extraordinary, glowing vision.
