After gaining experience in several luxury hotels in Bodrum on the Aegean coast, he arrived in Switzerland in 2015 and joined the team of Guarda Golf Hôtel & Residences to take care of coordination of its private residences.
"From a very early age, I have always loved cooking. While watching my mother preparing traditional dishes at home, I soon developed a real passion for the culinary art of my homeland. For me, cooking is not a matter of work, but pleasure." When the new concept for the Restaurant FIVE was created in 2020, it was therefore evident that Uğur Can should make his contribution, due to his expertise and origin.
Today, Uğur Can works in the Restaurant FIVE kitchen every day to guarantee its authenticity. "I love Turkish and Levantine cuisine because there are endless variations of mezze, often even vegan depending on their original recipes, which is in tune with today's taste."
